Custom clothing doesn't hide your build. It balances it.
Taller and Slim
Add visual width with textured fabrics, checks, patch pockets and a slightly wider lapel. Avoid very long, skinny lines.
Broader or Athletic
A softer shoulder and room through the chest and thigh keep the suit from looking strained. Stretch wools and natural bi-stretch fabrics are great choices.
Shorter
Keep lines long: a slightly shorter jacket, higher button stance, matching jacket and trousers, and little or no break at the hem.
Fuller Frame
Darker solids and subtle vertical patterns, a single-button or two-button front, and a clean, unpadded drape. Fit through the shoulders matters most.
Every client is different. This is where your fittings make the difference.
